Whether you’re homeschooling or just needing your child to increase their writing skills for school, I know it can be a challenge to get children to write.
My oldest (11 currently) did NOT love to write. Getting him to actually have legible printing took a lot of work, but over time I got to know his tastes/passions/etc and using that to encourage writing has really helped.
If you’re trying to get in some writing at home, then don’t go with the typical boring stuff. Give them something fun to write about so that it feels less like school and more like an enjoyable experience.
Not only a good writing experience, but you can find ways to peek a little more into their minds to see what they are thinking about by using well crafted journal prompts.
My guess is that if you are reading this, then your child enjoys Disney quite a bit. I get it…I am a Disney lover too! No really, ask my family, they need to hear me sing Disney songs just about daily. Disney+ may be one of the best things to ever happen!
So, to assist you, dear parents, with helping your children enjoy writing just a little more, I’ve put together some great Disney journal prompts.
These journal prompts are meant to be a fun way to get them writing and doing a little self-reflection.
These Disney Princess journal prompts are wonderfully fun, but you may be looking for Disney Journal prompts that highlight fun Disney characters. Behold! I’ve created this too! Just pop over here…and you’ll be able to grab those prompts too!
Use these journal prompts as is or grab my FREE downloadable Disney Princess journal pages to print out and let them use. The colour and fun style may get them even more excited!
